John McCullough - June's guest poet, brings and bares heart and soul to a packed house


Reading from two of his acclaimed collections in front of a packed house this month, John McCullough gave us all, from tender to witty and there was the totally cerebral.

We listened to a touching tribute to Avril Brown in 'Quantum', we learned how marvellously human John is with 'Oops I did it again' and felt his vulnerability and his pride in being John, in 'Queer-Cole.


Gentle, strong and powerful, his poems moved our hearts and our minds.
