Mark Durbidge, September's Guest Poet, brought a tour de force to our first gathering back at Printer's
Playhouse after our summer sojourn. Mark gave us heart, soul, speed and wit and all with his trademark aplomb.
There were ohhs and ahhs of appreciation as we listened to Mark's confiding tone share his desire, love and loss. Poetry written in the past, poetry created in the present, Mark delivered an impressive set that was warmly received by our audience.
It really was a great way to open our season!
If you'd like to hear more of Mark's work, you can find it published in Poetry Now, Triumph House and Forward Press anthologies.
Mark has also instigated an online poetry forum on the website, 'Nextdoor'.
